Thank you for visiting my page!  I'm a financial planner, which you can learn about below, but I'm also an author.  My latest piece, Strength in Numbers, was designed to empower women to take control of their finances with knowledge and confidence.  As a planner, I have witnessed the impact financial literacy has on an household, and with so many breadwinning women leading households today, it's crucial we educate them alongside their partners in the household's journey towards financial independence.

I was first inspired to write this novel after speaking with widowed and newlywed clients of our firm.  I was later motivated to make the writing empathetic when I witnessed my wife balance her career with motherhood.  Finally, the COVID pandemic reaffirmed my belief that a unified approach to a household's finances is essential at reducing stress and achieving objectives.  Galvanizing women to achieve their highest financial potential is our economy's greatest secret weapon, and this book serves as my effort to affect that.

My Professional Background

I serve as the lead portfolio manager for all assets at Orazio Financial Services.  In support of this role, I became a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder in June 2018.  Apart from wealth management, I also support the retirement, estate, tax, and insurance planning efforts for all client accounts. In support of this role,  I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in July 2019. In addition, I hold FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 securities registrations, as well as life, accident, health, and long-term care insurance licenses.

I am a proud Nittany Lion, having graduated from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University in 2009 with a major in finance and minor in mathematics.

Prior to joining Orazio Financial Services, I worked as an ERP consultant for IBM, an insurance agent for AXA Advisors, and a financial solutions advisor for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Each of these experiences helped shape my approach to delivering best in class service to clients while maintaining candor and a welcoming environment.

Outside the office, I am an active runner. Most recently, I completed the Philadelphia Half Marathon in 2015, where I raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the TCS New York City Marathon in 2017, raising money for the Arthritis Foundation.  This year I'll be on the road again in Philadelphia for the Broad Street 10miler, raising funds for the American Cancer Society.

I'm always looking to connect with colleagues, fellow writers, or potential clients.
